Dalbeattie in Bloom is a small group of enthusiastic gardeners who keep the town's flower beds blooming for the enjoyment of locals and visitors alike.

Generous donations have been given by Dalbeattie Lions Club, Dalbeattie Community Initiative, Helen Bell and a number of other local residents. The British Legion donates to the upkeep of beds around the War Memorial.

Pupils from Dalbeattie High School have helped to plant two beds in Colliston Park while some of the group look after the rockery, the beds round the War Memorial and the memorial to the Munitions Workers who worked at the Edingham ICI Factory during World War 2.

The rest of the group tend to the two large granite containers in John Street and the flower beds across from the Marie Curie Field of Hope along the A711.
