Dalbeattie Baptist Church has had a presence in the town since 1977 when the Baptist Fellowship began meeting in the Scout Hall in William Street. The Fellowship was constituted as Dalbeattie Baptist Church at a service on Sunday 8 March 1981 and later that year became affiliated to the Baptist Union.

In March 1988 the Church of Scotland building, in Mill Street, was put on the market and later that year Dalbeattie Baptist Church completed the purchase of the building. In 2006, due to the high costs of running such a large church, the congregation decided to stop worshipping in the main Church building and meet in the Church Hall. In 2010, the decision was made to sell off the large old Church and to renovate the Church Hall in Mill Street, Dalbeattie to become our new Church.

Our services are as follows:

Sunday 10.30am - Morning Service

A midweek meeting is held each Wednesday evening, commencing at 7.00pm, except during July and August. This is for prayer and Bible study.

The Leisure Hour is an informal get-together over light refreshments when a different programme is arranged for each occasion. It starts at 10.30am and is held every second Tuesday during the months of March, April, May, October, November and December. A warm welcome is extended to all.
